T.D.O.A. Wichita Falls, TX Conference!
The June 2009 Texas
D.A.R.E. Officers Association Conference, held in
Wichita Falls, Texas, was a big hit with law enforcement showing up from all
over the state of Texas. Dozens of decorated
D.A.R.E. vehicles were present and
literally bathed the city of Wichita with a powerful witness of
Drug Awareness
Resistence Education.
Pastor Daniel kicked off
the Opening Ceremonies with a powerful prayer, and our National
Anthem was sung. It was an atmosphere of unity and love for
the children each D.A.R.E. Officer teaches that set the stage for
excellent instruction and promoted a strong commitment to learning
techniques to keep our kids off drugs, and passing it on through
their own classroom instruction within their respective agencies.
Above are some selected photos where
D.A.R.E. Officers from all acrossed the
state of Texas learned a well-rounded wealth of knowledge from
instructors highly trained in the areas of:
Understanding The Mind of a Sexual Predator Sudden In-Custody Deaths
Dangers of the Choking Game Turning Kids on to Life and Learning Teaching the Unteachable Gangs and the Internet
Putting "Zoom" in Your Classroom Steroid and Non-prescription Drug Abuse
Teaching the Hearing Impaired Dealing with Domestic Violence
