Honorable Judge Sid Harle

Judge Sid Harle has been involved with the D.A.R.E.
Program for 11 years. During this time he has volunteered to speak to graduating D.A.R.E.
students on numerous occasions. State District Judge, 226th Judicial District Court, Bexar County
Texas. Appointed by Honorable William Clements, Governor State of Texas, August, 1988 and
was Elected November, 1988.
Judge Harle attended the St. Mary's University School of Law in
San Antonio, Texas and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in December 1980. Before he
took the bench he was Chief Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Hill Country Village, practiced
law as a private attorney and was a prosecutor for the Bexar County District Attorney's Office.

D.A.R.E.
Board of Directors for Bexar County
The local Bexar County
D.A.R.E. Board of Directors
are a group of local San Antonio - Bexar
County citizens responsible for the oversight and implementation of our local
D.A.R.E. Program,
local fundraising for D.A.R.E., and management of all
D.A.R.E. funds raised to support our
Bexar
County D.A.R.E. Program. They operate on a volunteer basis (no paid positions) under
established and filed constitution and Articles of Incorporation a legitimate IRS Tax Exempt 501
(c) (3) non-profit charity program. The primary purpose of which is for raising funds to support
our grass roots, Community based, supported and funded D.A.R.E. Program.
D.A.R.E. receives no financial assistance or grants from the Federal, State or local county
government. We do not receive any support from the Bexar County United Way. D.A.R.E.
relies
solely on donations from private citizens, civic, business and corporate donations in addition to
some Board fundraisers for its continued existence. D.A.R.E.
needs you and your financial
support so that we may continue to make a difference in the lives of our children in San Antonio
and Bexar County.
