Ms. Natalie J. Cook

Texas D.A.R.E. Officers Association

Official Spokesperson for D.A.R.E. in Texas

Natalie J. Cook graduated with honors May of ‘06 from Baylor University with a double B.A. in Public Relations and Speech Communications with areas of concentrations (minors) in event management, crisis management, and business development. While at Baylor Natalie founded and served as President of the first collegiate D.A.R.E. organization, D.A.R.E. Bear. This was not Natalie’s first experience with the D.A.R.E. program. She graduated from the Katy, Texas D.A.R.E. program in 1994 as a fifth grader. She kept in touch with her D.A.R.E. officers and then in high school became an official D.A.R.E. role model and toured and spoke to various elementary schools while serving as President of the role model program during her junior and senior year. Natalie has a great passion for the D.A.R.E. program and is truly honored to serve as the Texas D.A.R.E. Association’s Spokesperson. Natalie has returned to her native city of Houston, Texas where she is an account manager for NAS Recruitment Communications. She also is active in her Community which includes her involvement as an active member of the Speakers Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Natalie attributes her success to her loving family and her D.A.R.E. Officers from Katy, Texas and for Sgt. Joe Lindsey of Waco, Texas. Natalie has a passion for supporting D.A.R.E. and the opportunities through D.A.R.E. she has had to help other students.  D.A.R.E. Works! Natalie was appointed by T.D.O.A. President George Little to represent D.A.R.E. in Texas as official D.A.R.E. Spokesperson for 2006-2007.
