DELL-Printers from D.A.R.E.

The Goodness Project (Founded by
Bill Fletcher) donated 325 DELL Photo All-In-One laser printers to
D.A.R.E.
America who subsequently
gave them to the Bexar County
D.A.R.E. Program for
having the model Community-based and Community-supported
D.A.R.E. Program in the world (as
D.A.R.E. is international
and in 43-foreign countries). The purpose of the donated printers is to
provide some technology support to be given out to support schools and
organizations whose purpose it is to help educate and train our children.
Several school districts throughout San Antonio and
Bexar County received
printers along with the San Antonio Boy’s & Girls Clubs (Jim Watson –
Executive Director). The Bexar County
Sheriff’s Office
Drug
Abuse
Resistance
Education (D.A.R.E.)
Board and Program consistently works with and supports Communities throughout
San Antonio and Bexar County
as part of their “Commitment To Excellence”. If it involves helping children
and giving them an opportunity to succeed we are there said
Sheriff
Ralph Lopez citing our children as our most valuable nature resource and as
our future. What we do today to help them will secure their and our tomorrow
said Lopez. The Bexar County
D.A.R.E. Program
consistently seeks out organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs and works
with them to ensure their children learn the importance of making safe and
healthy choices for their future devoid of tobacco, alcohol,
over-the-counter and prescription drug use/abuse, as well as harmful effect
of illegal drug use/abuse and violence.
